AFRAA Annual General Assembly: Success in an integrated and interconnected Africa

The largest air transport event in Africa AFRAA AGA is taking place from 10 – 12 November 2019 in Mauritius and brings together airline CEOs, executives and decision makers to talk about aviation developments on the continent. Lufthansa Consulting is attending the summit with the company’s Associate Partner and Head of Market Africa, Catrin Drawer. After a brief introductory presentation titled “Breaking the mould – working differently” Catrin will be moderating the event panel of the same name on 12 November.

International stakeholders in the aviation business continuously introduce innovative strategies, processes and tools to keep up with the competitive environment. There are numerous creative and successful approaches. Three recent developments can be observed in the African aviation market:

– Listening to travelers – Developing services according to customer’s demand

– Connecting to society – Evaluating new route opportunities for public needs

– Responding to market demand – Enhancing product portfolio together with airlines

Based on these developments Catrin will moderate the panel discussion with some relevant entry questions from selected fields of action in the African aviation market. Six high level AFRAA AGA delegates will be part of the session and faced with the issue “What can be done differently to achieve sustainable success in the African Aviation market”?

During the event, this time hosted by Air Mauritius, Catrin will also be delighted to talk about Revenue Management and how to use potential best to increase revenues and of course about any other aviation business issues.
